A QUICK STORY

Tori Barr is a California native raised in the sunshine of San Diego County. After high school, she braved the transition from SoCal to NorCal for college where she studied literature in the heart of Napa Valley. There, she found another passion beyond the world of books - the magic of food and wine.

At the start of COVID 19, Tori made the decision to move to Seattle to start her full-time career as an executive chef at a local winery and part-time career as a travel journalist. Throughout her adventures, she stumbled into the world of historic wood window repair. Following her curiosity, she began her apprenticeship with the expert window care professional, Laura Kotten, who encouraged her to start her own business.

Amongst all her jobs, hobbies, and curiosities, the throughline of her passion is clear: good craftsmanship - regardless of the material.
